This is such crazy weather! I haven’t made it back to the gym since Sunday but I have done two Joe Wicks’ workouts at home to get me moving. I walked to the hair dressers yesterday skidding all over the place so a warm and cosy day was definitely in order!
If you haven’t watched Joe’s tv program or done any of his workouts I highly recommend it. Once you get beyond his weird turn of phrase, he is really motivating and I can see why people get the results they do. The 25 minute workouts have me sweating up a storm! The workouts on YouTube are great and he is really sympathetic, saying he’s tired etc too. I am trying to get them done in the morning as I love to crack on with the day knowing the exercise is taken care of. By doing it at home, I just chuck my sports bra and trainers on with my PJs and get it done. His recipes are really delicious too and so far I am not hungry at all. You do need a lot of time to prep but I am hoping it will get easier as we build a bit of batch freezer stock up. I am trying my best to stay off the sad step and totally trust in phase 1 so no weekly weigh in updates just yet.
I am 30 next month waaaaah! How is it coming so quickly?! (I’ve spent too much time with boys as why did I instantly say “that’s what she said” in my head 🤦♂️.) So there is no time to mess about. I will bosh this 🏋️♂️🏃♀️🚲.
