Wharf

It was mid to high 30s yesterday here in Santa Barbara. We melted πŸ˜‚. I think not having an ice-cream would have been against the law on the Wharf so I definitely slipped off the wagon. A really gentle slide off the wagon where your trainers stick to the side so it almost feels like slow motion. I was in control and didn’t eat much all day but did hang loose at night. We had an amazing meal with family and I thoroughly enjoyed a few glasses of vino (Josh wine wasn’t so bad eh?) and a sizeable slice of cheesecake after aaaah!

I’m not going to beat myself up though. We are on holiday and tomorrow is another day, I can reign it in and still fit in my dress for Saturday. It’s so hard to keep the fat girl inside locked away as she would love to say sod it and have pancakes for breakfast, a burger for lunch and pizza for tea πŸ™ˆ. The key has been thrown away though so she’s not allowed out.

On a side note I am so proud of my first born. He has fully taken everything in his stride and is charming everyone he meets. I could burst with pride at his politeness and easy breasy nature. Now to get them both sleeping in beyond 5/6 am. πŸ™ˆ
